Yoga Teacher Training
Yoga is rapidly growing and there is a high demand for yoga teachers globally. PranaShanti Yoga Centre offers quality internationally recognized Yoga Teacher Training programs in Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. We are an approved 200-hour Registered Yoga School (RYS) through Yoga Alliance. Our Teacher Training Programs are approved by Yoga Alliance. In addition, our Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Program is certified by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI).



PranaShanti Yoga Centre is an approved Certified Private Educational Institution by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Our Yoga Teacher Training programs were reviewed by HRSDC and determined to be part-time educational programs.
Students taking PranaShanti Yoga Teacher Training programs are eligible to receive an official tuition fee receipt (CRA Tuition, Education, and Textbook Amounts Certificate (T2202A)) which allows students to qualify for Tuition and Education Tax Credits on their personal income tax for the tuition paid for these programs.
By keeping our class sizes small and quality of training high our programs will give you the knowledge and confidence to teach students safely and effectively. In our trainings you will deepen your personal practice while still being able to maintain your commitments to your work and family.

Yin Yoga Teacher Training

Restorative Yoga Teacher Training
When the body is fully supported, it will naturally relax, releasing deeply held tensions. During this program, learn a set of restorative postures, complemented with gentle stretching, breathing, and meditation. Through direct experience, practice teaching, and feedback, you leave with the ability to confidently teach a primary series of restorative poses to your students as well as incorporate them into your own practice. Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training – Level 1
PranaShanti is Ottawa’s home for Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training – Level 2
Level 2 is open to KRI Level 1 Certified Instructors. The 300-hour/2-year certification program consists of five 62-hour modules and fulfills the Yoga Alliance 500-hour requirement.
