What's the correct way to stand so I can
improve my posture?
Follow these easy steps
to stand straighter and taller in no time.
1.
Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Toes should be pointing
straight ahead so feet are parallel to each other, or slightly
open if there is pressure on the knees.
2. Keep
legs as straight as possible without locking your
knees.
3. Allow your arms to rest naturally at
the side of your body.
4. Shift your weight
until you feel that you are being supported across the middle
of each foot -- not too far forward, not too far
back.
When we stand with correct posture, our muscles
and joints are aligned, which helps the body function
efficiently.
