5-minute desk yoga

By Alison Finney

Can you help me to relieve tension at my desk?

Sure can! Relax and refresh with a mini yoga break you can do at the office or in front of your home computer.

Sit on the edge of a chair with your feet placed on the floor, hip-distance apart.

Palms down, lay your hands flat on your thighs.

Stretch your spine and position your body so you feel that your heart is balanced over your hips. Relax your shoulders down and relax your jaw.

Inhale and exhale evenly for eight counts each.

Repeat as many times as you like, up to five minutes, to feel relaxed and peaceful.
